UMM well what I’ve been thinking is that he’s basically another Traveler like Bounty where he goes around and does odd jobs for people around except he knows and is p competent with magic. Like he knows how to like.  Not elemental magic, and not like defensive or offensive but like. Supportive magic?? Unlocking doors and chests and making things light up and things like that

So if you lock yourself out of your house he could help you out. He gets hired a lot to help with explorers and treasure hunters because he could help get chests and door unlocked

I think he runs into Elie or more like Elie helps him when he’s like bleeding and stuff so i guess they’re sort of friends. Elie is like his shitty doctor.

What foods do they love, and what foods do they refuse to eat?

Elie likes salty and savory foods, preferably something that’s crunchy opposed to like…mushy?? So like, meats with crispy skins, raw or steamed veggies, things like that. Stews and soups are okay more because the flavors and things you can get out of them, it outweighs the generally more soft texture to the things in the soups. 

He doesn’t like sour or like…tart things though. So nothing pickled ((I guess there’s like the bread and butter, and sweet pickling…those would be okay….)) and like. And he doesn’t like cold things. So like frozen deserts are out.

What languages do they speak? Do they have any idiosyncrasies or identifiable patterns of speech, word usages, etc?

He just speaks common language of the world, and doesn’t really have a lot of need to speak anything else. 

But he does sort of talk in a like…sort of mix between like…formal, and informal?? And it just sort of comes across and kind of weird and awkward. Like instead of saying something seems weird, he’d be like. Oh that doesn’t seem correct. Or like. Instead of just saying thanks or thank you it’s like. I’m grateful or like….you know to where there’s nothing WRONG with what he’s saying it just always seems a little off for the situation. 

Eli sort of mumbles and what he says always seems a little wishywashy. Half the time he’s got this sort of inflection that he might be asking a question, or it might be a statement?? but he doesn’t really use any filler words when he talks unless he’s like. Really off guard somehow you might get an ‘uhhh’ or something out of him. Otherwise you’re left with a sort of awkward silence where he thinks before he actually talks.

What makes them feel safe or secure? What makes them feel insecure or unsafe?

The second half is easier because the answer is most things. He’s sort of a kind of paranoid person and doesn’t really like being near people if he doesn’t actually have to be, he’d much rather just be an observer and not interact. In general he’s sort of a ball of nerves.
But I guess that’s just really being on-edge. What sort of tilts it a little bit more would be like. People who are really good talkers where they can talk themselves out of situations, because its like.  You know it always feels like something up, and if they always seem to know the way to get out of a situation, what do they know that you don’t?  How do you know they’re not getting the 1 up on you??
and people that approach him when like…he’s not selling things.  Like if you go over and are nearby and are just trying to make smalltalk he’s not really going to like it and will really just sort of want to leave. Like what do you want that makes you come to him and not like literally anyone else. 

So I guess if he were holed up in a nice warm place alone then he’d be pretty safe feeling.  Something about rainy days, too, keeps him calmed down and in a better mood.

Do they sing or play any musical instruments, even if just for fun? How well?

Bounty knows well enough to not sing because he’s pretty tone def. He knows good music when he hears it, and enjoys listening to it, and knows that him singing isn’t good much. He can play instruments, though. He knows how to play lute and banjo like instruments.  But he doesn’t really carry one around, so he never can really…practice?? So he plays slow and it takes him a while to get going, but aside from that he plays well enough with them.

Where in their body do they keep stress or tension? 

If he’s really stressed it’s easy for him to get tension headaches, because traveling around a lot it’s already really easy to get dehydrated and worn out, so they just come pretty easy. 
Otherwise, it’s sort of between the shoulder blades, that really uncomfortable place where you can’t quite crack your back.

How well do they take criticism? How do they react to others noticing their flaws?

lmfao. Bounty isn’t much of a being-around-people person so he hasn’t really had much experience with having to take criticism from people. He doesn’t really take it the best, but he knows enough to not argue with people who would be paying him for services.  But if it’s not a job, then he’ll probably argue back about it. Not like, get angry with you ((unless somehow it calls for it. But angry isn’t his first reaction)) but just. Straight up not agree with you or something. He’s pretty stuck in his ways, and it’s worked for so long, so what do you know sort of dude. 
It might take a little bit, either of discussing or just him sitting and thinking about it all, and he’ll eventually begrudgingly accept it and maybe change what he’s doing but not actually like….. Like if you’re like. Hey, you’re cooking this wrong, you should add X to this.  He’ll like try adding X eventually but like not mention or ever say anything about it especially if you were right.  I DONT KNOW how to explain it but he’s just a little bit difficult and stuck in his ways.
