OH BOY OK WELL

Okay the main point of the checkmate. carapace is sort of that they’re all looking…like sort of the canon characters?? with little differences. It’s all the canon characters stuff mixed up, basically.  Like, PS is Draconian’s body type with Jack’s eyes, AP is AR’s body type with the Queen’s eyes, PF is literally just a standard carapace soldier body type, and AP is the closest one to being not just a mix of canon character’s characteristics. His kind of got AR’s eyes, tilted, and his body type is closer to a generic carapace, but a little different. WS is Droll, a little taller, and SD is the same as AP where he’s closer to being unique, but he’s still basically the standard deal.
It was basically just…they’re nothing special, I guess. LIKE I mean, only one person looks like the Queen, and that’s the Queen. I figure Jack is p special, too in that he’s the only one who looks like him. But everyone else is just sort of a mixture of each other, and the same goes for these babies. 

But obviously as the main characters, they’re going to do SOMETHING and it’s just the same case w/ WV where there isn’t anything SPECIAL about them. Normal people can do extraordinary things.


GROTH ISNT…I just wanted to draw fantrolls one day and they turned into a session basically THERE ISN’T ANY REAL THOUGHT BEHIND THEM I GUESS??  I mean, I guess there’s a little bit of thought behind it. Radice is the roots, so he’s strong and tall. Albero is the actual plant, and he’s more frail, Minare is the sprout, and she’s shorter than the rest, Amenar is the seed and I’d say she’s the plainest of them. Like, standard sort of design deal, with a little bit of pop on what she could be but. There wasn’t like much thought past that, I don’t think. Nothing I remember unu
